Counterfeit products is a very real problem, posing potential health risks for consumers who purchase and use these products from unreliable vendors.

At a minimum, counterfeit cosmetic and personal care products may be ineffective because they lack key ingredients that make these products safe and effective. But the real risk lies inside these counterfeit products, as they may contain dangerous ingredients. According to The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, counterfeit cosmetics and personal care products pose “a safety risk for consumers, due to hazardous or banned alternative ingredients being incorporated into formulations.” There is no way to know where the ingredients come from, whether they are safe, and whether the manufacturing practices meet government standards for good manufacturing practices.

When fake and potentially hazardous products enter the marketplace, they undermine confidence in the safety and effectiveness of authentic products, while putting people’s health – and possibly their lives – at risk. Cosmetics and personal care products companies are regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and products go through six critical steps before

they make it to store shelves. The first step is purely focused on confirming the safety of the product, and then comes a clinical evaluation to test effectiveness. Microbiology tests keep you safe from harmful microorganisms that could spoil the product, and stability is checked so you know your product will remain safe through its shelf life. Process development ensures quality control, and then the supply chain is ironed out and the product can be sold. There are many stages that our “Good Manufacturing” process endures to ensure the safety to you, our customers. We cannot say that about the products that have been taking our good brand name and potentially can cause harm to the consumer.

WE SAY NO MORE!

On a daily bases, our legal department searches the entire internet and selling platforms (including all social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) for images that show illegal reproductions and reports them accordingly. Photos are reported, not people, persons or organizations.  It is against all international laws to display photography of counterfeit as it shows intent to sell. Selling counterfeit has detrimental consequences to the brand, but most importantly the health of the entire public.

In the case of other brand names illegally using KERATIN CURE or BTX trademark within their own products, this is also not allowed. Beauty Cosmetica will check all registrations and report all products in all countries and report all products that are illegally using our trademarks. In this case, if you are caught selling products you should contact the brand owners that have infringed on our rights. Most all have been previously notified but did nothing to rectify the issues. We are not responsible for sellers of other brands that have lost their internet accounts do to infringing company owners.

SOME OFFENDERS HAVE EVEN CONTACTED THIS COMPANY TO ASSIST THEM IN RESTORING THEIR ACCOUNTS EVEN AFTER SELLING SUCH DANGERS TO THEIR OWN PUBLIC.
